Appointment of New Business Advisory Board Member - Mr Yasushi Takigawa

Vivo Surgical is delighted to welcome Mr Yasushi Takigawa to our company's International Business Advisory Board.

Yasushi brings over 30 years of distinguished experience in the healthcare industry, complemented by a robust background in investment banking and corporate finance. 

His expertise is widely recognized, with significant achievements during his tenure at Boston Scientific, where he held multiple leadership roles. As Vice President of Endoscopy and Business Development for Boston Scientific Asia Pacific, Yasushi was instrumental in establishing and expanding the business development team, leading over 30 successful transactions, and driving business transformation strategies across APAC. His leadership in the Endoscopy Division at Boston Scientific Japan was marked by a remarkable business growth, making it the largest business unit within the company.

In addition to his time at Boston Scientific, Yasushi has played a crucial role in founding and scaling healthcare ventures, securing product licenses, and building strong partnerships across the US, Japan, and APAC regions. His bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, along with a deep understanding of both Western and Eastern business practices, makes him an invaluable addition to our team.
