Vivo Surgical was in attendance at the Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) MedTech Forum this past week as part of the Johnson & Johnson Innovation - JLABS Singapore pavilion. We would like to thank our industry partners and friends who came by for a chat - it was great catching up with everyone!

This year, our Founder & CEO, Kevin Koh, PhD and Head of Technology, Richard Lieu, were also invited to represent the startup product owner community for strategic discussions centred around manufacturing at:

1. A closed-door luncheon and roundtable discussion organised by Enterprise SingaporeSingapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and MedTech Catapult with some of Singapore’s top MedTech contract (and design) manufacturers, where we joined Alan Goh from NDR Medical Technology Pte Ltd and Jane Wang from Roceso Technologies to share our thoughts on how established medtech manufacturers could further support early stage startup companies through value-added D&D services and potential equity investments; and

2. A networking/dialogue session entitled "Building a MedTech Manufacturing Ecosystem for Scalabilty" as part the MedTech Forum’s main program, where we shared the stage with John Eng from Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB)Enci Mary Kan from MedTech CatapultMeng Koh from Flex Health Solutions and John Collings from Stryker to discuss the MedTech manufacturing ecosystem in Singapore and the region.

To cap off the eventful week, we attended MedTech Innovator Asia Pacific’s networking reception, courtesy of Paul Grand and Fredrik Nyberg, where we got to meet the winners from the 2024 cohort as well as fellow winners from the previous years.

Heartiest congratulations to John CollingsHarjit GillGabriel SIM and all at Asia Pacific Medical Technology Association (APACMed) on yet another buzzing MedTech Forum!
