Last weekend, our team from Vivo Surgical celebrated #EarthDay2023 by participating in a beach clean-up.
A grand total of 241 kg of washed-up waste was cleared from the heavily littered coast. This included 243 plastic containers, 340 plastic straws, 52 soiled diapers and even pairs of abandoned shoes.
It is crucial to keep our beaches free from such marine debris and plastic wastes which can endanger marine lives and be dangerous for patrons of the beach.
We are glad to do our part to keep the environment free from waste and plastic pollution.
